Psalm 127 God’s Blessings Are Essential

Post by Kefa »

Psalm 127
Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. (Psalm 127, KJV)

Psalm 127
God’s Blessings Are Essential

It is useless or vain to be self-reliant
For God will not bless the efforts.
The house, the city, or the family
Without God will be in “Feustration.”

This is the Motto of the city of
Edinburg, Scotland, and should be
Applied to lives lived without
Salvation through Jesus Christ.

Benjamin Franklin when speaking to the
Convention for Forming a Constitution
For the United States quoted, “Except
The Lord build the house, they labor in vain.”

God must build the house and the family
God gave the first woman to the first man
In Eden and told them, “Be fruitful and
Increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.”

The growth of the family is God’s work.
Children are gifts from God and need to
Be treated as God’s precious gifts
Intended to be a spiritual family.

The city is not Jerusalem, but the New
Jerusalem. The family is not a mere family,
But the whole spiritual family of those
Who belong to Jesus Christ.

"Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep's clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves! You will recognize them by their fruit. Can people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?
Matthew 7: 15-16 Complete Jewish Bible

Dear friends, don't trust every spirit. On the contrary, test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.1 John 4:1 Complete Jewish Bible
