Psalm 130 Out Of The Depths Pearls Are Found

Post by Kefa »

Psalm 130

Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared. I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. (Psalm 130, KJV)

Psalm 130
Out of the Depths Pearls Are Found

Out of the depths of sin the psalmist
Cries for forgiveness, and found the
Pearl of redemption. Pearls lie deeper
And freer than we imagine.

In the depth of black abyss is found
Our personal sins, and out of that depth
We cry “Dear God, forgive, forgive.”
And out of that depth the pearl is found.

Forgiveness is received, and we rest in
Peace and joy before His blessed feet.
Consciousness of sin was a dark night,
But forgiveness flushed the light of heaven.

Now the psalmist becomes an evangelist.
He wants to share his pardon, and calls
On Israel to know God’s loving kindness,
Forgiveness, and redemption from sin.

If you haven’t experienced God’s
Forgiveness, ask God to forgive you
Now. He will cleanse and make your
Scarlet sins as white as snow.

Grace, grace, God’s grace that will pardon
and cleanse within; Grace, grace, God’s grace
is greater than all our sin.”

"Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep's clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves! You will recognize them by their fruit. Can people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?
Matthew 7: 15-16 Complete Jewish Bible

Dear friends, don't trust every spirit. On the contrary, test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.1 John 4:1 Complete Jewish Bible
