Psalm 150 Praise Him, Praise Him

Post by Kefa »

Psalm 150
Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalm 150, KJV)

Psalm 150
Praise Him, Praise Him

We have reached the last summit
Of the mountain chain of Psalms.
It rises high into the clear azure,
And its brow is bathed in sunlight.

The sunlight of eternal worship,
A prophecy of the last results
Of devout life in its unclouded
Sunniness where God is the light.

It is the certain end of the weary
Years on this earthly planet when
“Everything that has breath praises,”
Our wonderful Redeemer.

Who once was insulted, blasphemed,
Denied, ignored and rejected, John
Wrote: “Then I heard every creature
In heaven and on earth…singing:

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
For ever and ever!” (Rev, 5:13).

In this book the writer begins with
Bible study and ends with endless
Praise, and cries with burning words,

“Praise him, praise him, Praise ye the Lord.”

“Let everything that has breath praise the
Lord. Praise the Lord.”

Psalm 100: 4

"Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep's clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves! You will recognize them by their fruit. Can people pick grapes from thorn bushes, or figs from thistles?
Matthew 7: 15-16 Complete Jewish Bible

Dear friends, don't trust every spirit. On the contrary, test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.1 John 4:1 Complete Jewish Bible
